Bombora Aquaponics, SRL.

Bombora employs a bio-integrated system that links recirculating aquaculture with hydroponic vegetable, flower, and/or herb production. Recent advances by researchers and growers alike have turned aquaponics into a working model of sustainable food production. This feasibility study & business plan provides an introduction to aquaponics. An extensive list of resource points.

This business plan has been written to primarily show the feasibility of our project.  It will also be an educational document that we hope will clearly show the working business and technical aspects of aquaponics.  For the purpose of conceptualizing the daily operations of our business, you may find some areas of this study to have overlapping educational components.

In essence, our Aquaponic Greenhouse is designed to be a highly efficient and sustainable producer of organic, all natural living foods, while utilizing minimal space and outside resources. In the interest of Bombora philosophy, the proposed facility could be considered to be either modular (allowing easy, quick, or simplified multiple-facility production), or to be highly customizable (fitting production into oddly-shaped available spaces. In situations of immediate need, a very basic facility or an emergency repair of a permanent facility could be initially constructed from plastic or fiberglass. Our current proposal considers a permanent facility, with greater utility savings, a more controlled growing environment, and a more professional and recognizable appearance.

To minimize risk and maximize revenue, Bombora will use proven theory and experience in both Aquaculture and Hydroponics.  When combining the two practices into one, it is then referred to as “Aquaponics”.

Bombora plans to develop our business plan in two phases.  Phase one will be the development of the aquaculture side of the business.  This will allow us to grow and establish a sustainable fish crop that will allow Bombora to both generate a substantial income and to prepare the nutrients needed to properly develop the hydroponics portion of the operation.  With this model, our projections indicate that we will completely pay off the entire cost of this first phase of business in 8-10 working months.  This first phase will have an overall investment of around 1.3 million Dollars.

Please note: these video's are only a sample of what we can do these will be changed soon once we have the operation up and running latter this year.
