Future Projects In Africa

EDS has been working diligently over the last six months in preparing for a large-scale housing project in Angola. We understand Ghana and other African nations may have similar needs for housing projects due to population increase and a current housing shortage. EDS is well equipted to help remedy these shortages, as all of the study, preparation, and design that has been done by EDS on the Angola project may also be used to accomplish the same type of projects in Ghana and other part of Africa.

From the above 3D designs used for the Angola housing project one can see that this design may be very easily used for a similar project in Ghana and other African nations with some minor changes to meet their requirements. We have completed detailed design and conditions that have been presented to us for the building of three different housing plans of 1,139 sqf/106sqm, 1,244 sqf/116sqm and 1,626 sqf/151sqm.

All of these designs meet the requirements needed within our modular building system which can be manufactured quickly in African nations. This type of system has given us the ability to use large economies of scale to build housing developments that will meet the expectations and standards for quick and affordable high-quality construction.

We offer a high level of production output while maintaining quality of each home. We have designed our unique system of modular construction to produce at least 30 homes per day. At this rate, will are able to provide 180 new homes every week or 720 every 4 weeks for a total of 9,360 units per year! Our manufacturing facilities can be expanded or contracted to meet the needs of construction.

These homes are designed to be highly-insulated and energy-saving systems, with quality construction and materials that will achieve longevity of at least 100 years with normal maintenance and up-keep. All of our systems are designed around real world engineering to meet local and international standards. All the materials used are designed to be water resistant and fire resistant. Each property would include a water storage tank, septic and grey water tanks, and connections to the local utilities, or the use of alternative sources of power supply.
